Electrical Service Manager Opportunity
A confidential electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Service Manager for its Lincoln, NE market. This opportunity is intended for a proven electrical construction professional who can take ownership of service responsibilities while supporting safe execution, strong customer service, disciplined project controls, and profitable growth. The successful candidate will combine practical electrical construction knowledge with sound judgment, organization, communication, and leadership.
Experience
5–10+ years of electrical service, special projects, project management, or field leadership experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage electrical service and special-project operations for commercial and industrial customers.
- Coordinate technicians, field supervisors, dispatch, scheduling, and customer priorities.
- Estimate and price service work, tenant improvements, repairs, upgrades, and small projects.
- Track labor, materials, purchase orders, billing, work orders, and department performance.
- Develop preventive-maintenance and recurring-service relationships.
- Ensure technicians have the information, materials, equipment, and support needed to work safely.
- Resolve customer issues quickly and maintain high standards for responsiveness and workmanship.
- Help recruit, develop, and retain service electricians and field leaders.
Qualifications
- Electrical service or construction management experience appropriate for the position.
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, troubleshooting, repairs, and small projects.
- Ability to manage customers, technicians, schedules, estimates, and financial performance.
- Strong communication, organization, sales, and problem-solving skills.
- Electrical field experience or licensure is highly beneficial.
- Service-management or dispatch software experience is a plus.
