Electrical Low Voltage Project Manager Opportunity
A confidential electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Low Voltage Project Manager for its Greensboro, NC market. This opportunity is intended for a proven electrical construction professional who can take ownership of low-voltage responsibilities while supporting safe execution, strong customer service, disciplined project controls, and profitable growth. The successful candidate will combine practical electrical construction knowledge with sound judgment, organization, communication, and leadership.
Experience
5+ years of project management or technical experience with low-voltage electrical systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage low-voltage projects from estimating and planning through installation, testing, commissioning, and closeout.
- Coordinate drawings, submittals, RFIs, procurement, schedules, change orders, and documentation.
- Manage technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and integration partners.
- Coordinate pathways, power requirements, device locations, head-end equipment, and system interfaces.
- Track costs, labor performance, billing, forecasts, and schedule commitments.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, owner training, as-builts, and turnover documentation.
- Maintain customer relationships and resolve scope or coordination issues promptly.
- Support estimating and business development for future low-voltage opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience managing or installing low-voltage electrical systems.
- Knowledge of fire alarm, security, structured cabling, access control, audiovisual, or communications.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, riser diagrams, and system requirements.
- Strong project management, organization, communication, and customer-service skills.
- Relevant manufacturer certifications or industry credentials are beneficial.
- Electrical construction experience is valuable.
