EC&M’s 2026 Top 50 Electrical Contractors report shows combined 2025 revenue above $80 billion, with the group posting a major year-over-year increase. Data centers and power infrastructure were leading sources of growth, with most surveyed contractors identifying data center work as a major market. The report also documents continuing labor shortages, material price pressure, supply-chain constraints and project delays. Contractors are responding with prefabrication, improved planning and other productivity strategies. The results illustrate how rapidly mission-critical construction and power-system investment are changing the scale and operating demands of the electrical contracting industry.
