Eaton plans to invest more than $242 million in a new manufacturing facility in North Little Rock, Arkansas, that will produce customized modular electrical enclosures for critical infrastructure projects.
The one-million-square-foot plant is expected to create more than 1,200 manufacturing, electrical and operations jobs. Eaton says the expansion will double its U.S. manufacturing capacity for customized electrical enclosures produced by its Fibrebond business.
The equipment is used in data centers, utility systems, industrial facilities and digital communications infrastructure. Modular electrical enclosures allow major portions of electrical systems to be assembled and integrated in a factory before delivery to a construction site.
Eaton acquired Fibrebond in April 2025. Fibrebond has operated in Minden, Louisiana, for more than 40 years, and Eaton says production capacity there has doubled during the past three years.
Eaton also plans technical-skills training and career-development programs for employees. Arkansas economic-development officials said North Little Rock was selected after a competitive site search.
The investment arrives as data-center and utility construction creates heavy demand for electrical equipment and faster project delivery. Eaton's announcement was independently confirmed by Arkansas economic-development and business reporting.
