This lesson focuses on identifying and estimating the electrical requirements associated with equipment on your student project. You will coordinate information from the electrical plans with mechanical, plumbing, equipment, and other applicable drawings or schedules to determine what requires electrical power and what the electrical contractor must provide. Particular attention is given to connections, disconnecting means, raceways, conductors, controls, and other supporting components that can be missed without careful coordination.
